About Emily
I’m Emily Kovacic, a Pittsburgh-based photographer working across fashion, e-commerce, and commercial imagery.
My start came from a very different world — live music. I spent my early photography days in concert photo pits, learning how to work quickly in fast, unpredictable environments. That experience still shapes how I shoot today, influencing my sense of timing, energy, and balance.
While completing my BFA in Photography at Point Park University, I developed a strong interest in fashion and commercial work. Since then, my focus has been on creating imagery that feels current while remaining functional for brand and digital use.
I approach each shoot with a balance of direction and flexibility, creating an environment where people feel comfortable while keeping the work intentional and aligned with the project. Whether in studio or on location, my goal is always the same — to produce images that are clean, expressive, and usable.
